BCDT collects your data so that we can:

How do we store your data?

BCDT securely stores your data on a protected drive accessible only to authorised personnel.

  • Enquiries are retained for 3 months.
  • Volunteer applications are retained for 6 months if unsuccessful, or for the duration of your volunteering activities if successful.
  • Membership information is retained while your membership remains active.

Once this period expires, your data is securely deleted.

Marketing

If you have opted in to receive updates from BCDT, we may send you information about our projects, events, and community activities.

You can opt out of these communications at any time by emailing info@bcdt.org.uk or clicking on the link “unsubscribe” at the bottom of our emails.

Your data protection rights
